Here is the Novel Study blurb

Welcome to Novel Study, where we focus on discussions, comprehension, and chapter/unit summaries. Each book may have different activities for comprehension and discussion; some examples include, Before Reading, Author Research, Character Chart, Making Predictions, Plot Mountain, Story Timeline, Conflict, Setting, Theme, Problem Solving, Cause and Effect, Character Types, Character Map, Facts and Opinions, Persuasive Writing, Quotations, Character Comparison, Story Comparison, Making Connections, Vocabulary Look-up, Chapter Summaries. Each novel will also have an assessment component. Students will be required to read the assigned chapter/s before each class.
